History repeats itself

I found it shocking to know that something that had happened long ago, was coming back in this time. You want to believe that everyone is treated equal and racism has stopped, but that is far from true. The Jena S. storie and the Little Rock Nine are something that should be prevented, it happened long ago they know what is was like and saw and heard the story, how could they not have seen this coming? How many times must an innocent student have to be hurt or verbally abused before all this is stopped. Both stories are similar because both of the students were black, They were hurt in some way for their race and color. Both of these stories are very unfortunate for the students being punished for getting an education or trying to atleast, school should not be somewhere that kids should be dealing with bullying or any type of discrimination.

Survey

W:6,7 AA:2,1 H:8,8
This survey may not be that accurate because it depends on the people your around at the time you are asking these questions. To me people and their education NOW has nothing to do with their race or their color. I believe its all about their up bringing and how they were raised. Whether there white, african american or hispanic. Obviously back then race was everything and was a major part in education, freedom or restrictions. Ofcourse not everyone shares my opinion im sure or believes that race and color isnt everything but most do. Im sure there are very few places and people that you would find this type of thing taking place

I feel any ad with a women in the kitchen, cooking, cleaning very much displays sexism. Thats what everyone thought of women back then all they were good for was cooking and catering to there families."housework" as well as for men they always show women in the house and they always show men in ads either fixing the roof or mowing the lawn something handy. However in this ad it shows a women making the bed with imporved sheets, is that all women are good for? Cleaning up after everyone, doing chores?

The whole in the fence

The big day was here, the day i have been waiting for. Today was the day i went to my first live baseball game. I had my tickets ready in my hand. I was so happy that my mom had actually got them for me, they must have been expensive. The feild was not too far from my house. I put on my favorite baseball cap,a nd favorite baseball shirt then headed out the door. Finally made it to the field so anxious and excted waiting to give the guy at the booth my ticket. "Next" is all i hear, i procced to the booth and give the guy my ticket, as i begin walking passed the gate i am stopped and told there is something wrong with my ticket. It's FAKE! I could not believe it. I had no other choice but to leave, so dissapointed and angry. Hearing the sound of the balls being hit by the metal bats and the empire yelling STRIKE on the other side of the fence. As im walkking i stop and see what seems to be like a whole in the fence. I look through and have a clear view of the baseball game, i stood peeking throught that whole the entire night until the game was finally over!

Televsion

Television, yes sends messages that are innapropriate and could have effect on teens and young adults, however it is their choice to follow it. Everyone has a mind of their own. They have the will power to be influenced by whats on television or just to know that what they see is wrong. Just because you watch these programs doesnt mean you have to do the actions and take it upon you to get into the peer pressure. There are teens who ofcourse want to be cool or try to be cool and think what they see on T.V is what they need to do to be cool. Most of it is all an act and just because you watch celebrities and think they are the perfect role model most of them are not. It i your choice to give iinto what you watch or just know its wrong and not be influenced by it.
