Televsion

Television, yes sends messages that are innapropriate and could have effect on teens and young adults, however it is their choice to follow it. Everyone has a mind of their own. They have the will power to be influenced by whats on television or just to know that what they see is wrong. Just because you watch these programs doesnt mean you have to do the actions and take it upon you to get into the peer pressure. There are teens who ofcourse want to be cool or try to be cool and think what they see on T.V is what they need to do to be cool. Most of it is all an act and just because you watch celebrities and think they are the perfect role model most of them are not. It i your choice to give iinto what you watch or just know its wrong and not be influenced by it.

Survivors

Hearing all their stories was very inspirational. In a way made me appreciate the life i have, although the world is not perfect nothing as horrible as that is happening in todays world to me. I never heard of such things besides learning about in class, but trust me it is a whole different story hearing it from people who have experienced it, Hearing all their stories and troubles, the death of a family member, seperation from them. Not knowing whether youll see your family again is sad, thats usually all you have. Having to worry about yourself and what will happen to you next living in fear and always having to be prepared for anything is a scary feeling, something i would never want to go through and i hope i will never have to either. Whether an adult or an innocent child, there is no excuse and noone should have to go through this or be put in that sad situation.
