yellow journalism

Yellow journalism is the over exaggeration of a specific topic during an amount of time. For example, in school, rumors spread quickly and others want to be informed with the details. News channels do the same. They find a certain topic to discuss until they find another topic to blow up. News headlines use over exaggeration.
